The chapter marks the realization of a dream shared between two childhood friends.
It shows the relationship between Kafka Hibino and Mina Ashiro, who, as young kids, dreamed of becoming Defense Force officers.
As a kid, Kafka aimed high, believing he would achieve a combat power of 99 percent, become a master swordsman, the strongest gunner, defeat 10,000 monsters, and be the most famous commander for ten consecutive years.
Conversely, Mina had a singular goal: to save as many lives as possible, including troop members, civilians, and even pets. She wanted to ensure that no one under her command would ever die.
Many years later, Mina became one of the Defense Force’s best assets and was even deemed the biggest threat to monsters by Kaiju no 10 himself.
Kafka struggled to keep up with Mina’s success, but with his newfound power, he can now battle alongside his childhood friend, fulfilling their promise many years ago.
The two find themselves facing the most dangerous threat to humanity, with Kaiju no 10 unleashing its full power in a battle that will determine the fate of the world.
