Black Butler season 4 Public School arc recap
In Black Butler season 4, Ciel Phantomhive enrolls in Weston College to investigate the mysterious disappearances of students, including the Queen’s relative, Derrick Arden.
The college, divided into four dorms, sees Ciel and his butler, Sebastian, navigate its social hierarchy to gain the favor of the influential prefects. They hope to meet the elusive principal and uncover the truth.
Ciel and Sebastian face various challenges, including deceitful students and complex school dynamics. They expose Maurice Cole’s misconduct, earning the prefects’ trust and delving deeper into the mystery.
Discovering that the missing students were suspiciously transferred to the Violet Wolf dorm, Ciel orders a fire to force their appearance, but they remain elusive.
The season culminates in a cricket tournament, during which Ciel aims to win the principal’s favor. It’s revealed that the Undertaker, disguised as the principal, transformed the missing students into reanimated corpses. The prefects confess to covering up Derrick’s crimes.
Although Ciel and Sebastian fail to capture the Undertaker, they rescue the students and report their findings to the Queen. Order is restored at Weston College as the corrupt prefects are expelled, and Ciel and Sebastian return to their duties at the Phantomhive estate.
Black Butler season 5 release schedule
Crunchyroll announced that Black Butler Season 5 will be released in 2025. However, the official release date has yet to be confirmed.
