The Wind Breaker season 2 release window is officially announced.
After the season 1 finale of the anime, Clover Works officially announced that Wind Breaker would return, bringing a whole new set of conflicts for Bofurin to resolve.
Wind Breaker is an anime adaptation of the popular manga written and illustrated by Satoru Nii, which was brought to life by Clover Works. The anime aired from April 4, 2024, to June 28, 2024, consisting of 13 episodes.
Furin High School, home of the Bofurin peacekeepers, is renowned for its formidable reputation in street battles, using its strength to defend the town from threats.
Haruka Sakura, a newcomer to Furin, initially seeks to rise to the top without associating with weaker students. Despite his reluctance to make friends, he forms unlikely bonds with others who share his ambition.

The fight continues in Wind Breaker season 2
The first season of Wind Breaker introduces a diverse cast of characters belonging to different schools that control their territories. The strongest students in each school rule over their respective areas.
Bofurin maintains peace and order, intervening to stop any wrongdoing they encounter. This earns them the support of their neighborhood. However, rival schools frequently challenge their order, causing trouble.
In season 1, we meet Haruka Sakura, a new Furin High School student eager to make a name for himself.
As he gets to know his schoolmates, particularly Hajime Umemiya, the leader of Bofurin and the Four Heavenly Kings, Haruka learns why they fight to keep the peace. This experience transforms him from a selfish, disconnected teenager into one of Bofurin’s most promising leaders.
Will there be a Wind Breaker season 2?
Wind Breaker episode 13, “For a Friend,” ended on a cliffhanger with Bofurin’s first-year students, led by Haruka, preparing to confront the mysterious troublemakers, KEEL.
On June 28, 2024, Clover Works announced that Wind Breaker season 2 will be released in 2025. The exact date or quarter was not specified at the time of writing.
