A Critical Kill in MW3 Zombies is achieved by landing a shot on an enemy’s weak point, resulting in an elimination.
This weak point is almost always the head. However, for some elite zombies or bosses, you might need to identify their weak spot.
You can do this by targeting different areas until you see the double X-mark hit marker, which signifies a weak spot. Once you’ve found it, focus on reducing their health and then finish them off with a few well-placed shots to that spot.
When you score a Critical Kill, you’ll see a “Critical Kill” notification in yellow on your screen.
Tips to get Critical Kills fast
There are several ways to boost your Critical Kill count.
Weapons like sniper rifles, marksman rifles, and battle rifles are ideal for aiming for the head due to their accuracy and zoom capabilities.
If you prefer a more run-and-gun approach, consider weapons with high base damage like shotguns or pistols. These can still score critical hits with well-placed shots.
Use the Deadshot perk, as this highlights enemies in red, making it easier to focus on their heads.
