The Carian Thrusting Shield is located near the Storehouse, Back Section Site of Grace. To get there, you’ll have to make a long way from the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace to the Church District Entrance Site of Grace first.
This can be done by going down a hole in the Moorth Ruins and reaching the Bonny Village. From there, it’s a relatively easy path northeast to the Church District Entrance Site of Grace.
From the Church District Entrance Site of Grace, you’ll see a couple of towers at the far left with a building in the middle. That’s where you have to go.
To go to the opposite side, you’ll have to jump through the roofs and scaffoldings at the side.
When you reach the other side, you’ll have to go near the end of the roof. Be careful as there is a Fire Knight roaming on the roof. Take them out or dodge the attacks.
When you’re near the end of the roof, you’ll see a small structure connecting the towers to the building. Jump on it and go forward.
After you’ve reached the top of the building, there is huge hole on the roof. Jump down on the linear structure below carefully, and get onto the lowest floor.
After that go right to where you landed. You’ll find two Fire Knights roaming so avoid them.
You’ll find a doorway on the left of the walkway with a path leading to an elevator. This is the second doorway on the left, not the first. Get onto the elevator to go up.
Go left after leaving the elevator and you’ll find the Storehouse, Back Section Site of Grace.
Just in front of the Site of Grace, you’ll stumble upon a section full of huge spears with a Fire Knight with their back turned at the end of it. The Carian Thrusting Shield is in front of the Fire Knight.

The Carian Thrusting Shield has a physical attack power of 122 and a magic power of 36. It requires 17 Strength, 13 Dexterity and 15 Intelligence to use. It looks a bit like the Twinblade class but bulkier and has great physical damage negation.
Two-handing makes it much more effective as it can block attacks much more effectively. Using a powerful Ash of War while fully upgrading it Smithing Stones can certainly make it stand out.
It can be very useful against bosses who have attacks with huge areas-of-effect and do quick combos.
