The Final Warning is one of the most powerful exotic Strand weapons in Destiny 2. Its exotic perk, All At Once, allows it to mark nearby targets and deal burst damage that can unravel enemies.

As if it wasn’t powerful enough to decimate most elites and bosses, Bungie has now added a catalyst to make it more deadly.

You can get the Final Warning exotic catalyst from strikes, gambits, and crucible activities in Destiny 2. As of this writing, these ritual activities are the only way to get this Strand sidearm’s catalyst.

Sadly, since it’s a random drop, it might take a while to get the Final Warning exotic catalyst. Your best bet is to play these activities consistently and hope the RNG gods reward your efforts.

Once you get the catalyst, you have to get 700 kills to equip it.

Fortunately, the grind will be worth it, as equipping this catalyst will overpower this weapon.

What does Final Warning exotic catalyst do in Destiny 2?

The Final Warning’s exotic catalyst, String Theory, deals increased damage to marked enemies and has a chance to refill your magazine’s ammo.

With the catalyst, the Final Warning can do up to 5% more damage, which is insane because it’s already so powerful for clearing yellow-bar enemies in activities like legendary lost sectors.

The Final Warning and its catalyst reminds us of Oseto Striga and its catalyst. Like the latter, the former can deal burst damage, whereas its catalyst can return ammo to the magazine.

They also use the Kinetic slots and are currently one of the best DPS weapons of their respective types in Destiny 2.

That sums up our guide on how to get the Final Warning catalyst in Destiny 2.
