Yinlin is a new 5-star Electro character in Wuthering Waves. What’s unique about Yinlin is that she uses a puppet, “Zapstring,” to deal massive amounts of electric damage.
Since Wuthering Waves CBT 2, Yinlin has been alluded to as one of the best DPS characters in the game.

When is Yinlin coming to Wuthering Waves? Yinlin release date details
Yinlin is coming to the game on June 6, 2024. Her limited-time banner will be part of phase 2 of the Wuthering Waves 1.0 update.
Sadly, she didn’t appear in 1.0 but should have a significant role in the game’s next story arc.
Like Rover, Yinlin is a Resonator, a powerful one at that, who once served the Public Security Bureau before getting suspended.
According to her official character description, “Yinlin is steady and reliable, yet harbors hidden depths of secrets. She excels at exploiting resources at her disposal to uncover lurking crimes. Beneath her aloof and flamboyant exterior, Yinlin possesses a heart of gold, reserved only for those she deems trustworthy.”
Not much is known about Yinlin’s role in the story but we do know who her English and Japanese voice actors are.
She is voiced by Naomi McDonald (English), who you may recall as Gravel from Arknights, and Ami Koshimizu (Japanese), who worked on Nina from Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
When will the Yinlin banner conclude?
Yinlin’s banner should conclude on June 28, 2024, three weeks after its start.
In addition to Yinlin, you can expect boosted drop rates for 4-star characters Aalto, Yuanwu, and Taoqi.
It goes without saying, but Yinlin’s limited-time banner will return again, so if you can’t save up enough Radiant Tides and Astrites to pull for her this time, you can always try to get her later.
