When can you play Jiaoqiu in Honkai Star Rail? Jiaoqiu release date revealed
The Jiaoqiu release date is August 20, 2024, at least according to Hoyoverse’s drip marketing for the character.
It’s worth noting that the aforementioned release date for Jiaoqiu could change as Hoyoverse has only confirmed that the character is coming to HSR 2.4.
Since Yunli is coming in phase 1 of 2.4, Jiaoqiu should be part of phase 2, which suggests a late August release date. We will update this section of the article as soon as Hoyoverse confirms the official launch date of HSR 2.4.
As mentioned above, Jiaoqiu has yet to appear in HSR’s story, and much of his existence is currently shrouded in mystery. That said, HSR has included a character description in his drip marketing that provides some background information alongside details like his English voice actor.
Here’s a snippet of the official Jiaoqiu character description from Hoyoverse:
“A foxian healer from the Xianzhou Yaoqing and a counselor. Often greets people with a smile, but is rather cunning. Born into a prestigious Alchemy Commission family, he once withdrew from practicing medicine due to a broken heart. However, he returned to the field to treat ‘the Merlin’s Claw,’ General Feixiao.”
Jiaoqiu is voiced by Mark Whitten (English), who is best known for portraying characters like Kaedehara Kazuha in Genshin Impact and Dr. Curt Connors in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
When will Jiaoqiu banner conclude?
Jiaoqiu’s limited-time banner should conclude on September 10, 2024, three weeks after its arrival.
This should give you an ample amount of time to farm Stellar Jades and stock up on Star Rail Special Passes.
