League of Legends Lead Gameplay Designer Matt “Riot Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison posted a preview of LoL patch 14.13 today.
Following patch 14.12’s focus on AD carries, patch 14.13 brings the spotlight to AD casters. This means we can expect buffs to champions who excel at dealing magic and physical damage with their abilities.
This patch also takes a unique approach to balancing champions who rely heavily on Fated Ashes items. Instead of nerfing the items themselves, which the developers consider well-balanced currently, they’ll be adjusting the champions who benefit from them the most.
Additionally, Ezreal is expected to be strong in patch 14.12. He’s already being played more in patch 14.11, and Riot anticipates him becoming a major force in the upcoming update.
