Ellen Joe is an S-Rank Ice Agent with attack and slash fighting styles. She’s a young woman who works for Victoria Housekeeping Co., a company that seems rather ordinary on the surface. However, there’s more to Ellen than meets the eye.
Despite her affiliation with a housekeeping company, Ellen is a highly skilled combatant. She fights with a calm and collected demeanor, almost as if she’s had extensive training in the past — a past that she keeps shrouded in mystery.
Zhu Yuan is also an S-Rank Ether Agent with attack and pierce fighting styles. She serves as the leader of the Public Security’s Criminal Investigation Special Response Team, a group dedicated to maintaining order in the bustling metropolis of New Eridu.
These two characters aren’t just banner highlights; they play a pivotal role in the unfolding story. Zenless Zone Zero Chapter 2-Interlude marks the official debut of Officer Zhu Yuan, allowing players to experience her leadership and combat skills firsthand.

There are two Zenless Zone Zero 1.0 banner release dates players need to keep in mind.
The Zenless Zone Zero 1.0 banner release date for Phase 1 is on launch day, July 4, 2024. Three weeks after the game’s release, Phase 2 becomes available on July 24, 2024.
